Bio Summary -- Carol Hofbauer is the current OSLHA Past President and ASHA StAMP rep for Ohio. She has been a Speech Language Pathologist for 46 years, working for the past 30 years in the long term care industry. Carol spent the last 15 years of her career in a corporate level position for a chain of nursing homes and, as such, was responsible not only for the day to day operations of the rehab departments, but also for the training and educations of the therapists working in the facilities. This has enabled her to develop expertise in Medicare rules and regulations. Carol retired in February 2020, but has continued to participate in the ASHA StAMP and the Alternative Payment Model committees, affording her the ability to stay current in Medicare.
